When we were just ourselves getting off the ground as a business, we made some mistakes that in hindsight, we probably could've easily gotten around. this article is devoted to helping you NOT make these mistakes.
1. changing too quickly
We started changing our brand from Snowstorm to tent way to quickly. We were originally going to call this Designery, but then decided against it. The problem with this was, we already had some Designery branding in place. Then we had to change even more things.
learn from this, change your brand when you're really ready too.
2. not fully defining ourselves
As we were making the switch, we had to decide what we stood for, and we didn't fully have it straight when launch time came, which is why our home page has changed significantly in the past few months.
learn from this, define yourself as a brand before you relaunch
3. not taking advice
At first, we didn't really ask anyone how our rebranding looked. We relied on our ideas, how we thought it was looking. Eventually we realized that we needed outside advise to make sure everything looked right. We realized that we always need outside advise on our projects. Because sometimes we need some new eyes to inspire us.
learn from this, ask for outside advise.
cheers to your project!
